The module deals with skills that are important for leading employees (leadership). Since leadership has an influence on people, the focus is on issues of communication (leadership communication). After establishing a fundamental overview, the course goes into detail on various areas of communication in leadership relationships (e.g., goal setting, feedback, assessment discussions). In addition, key content areas such as coaching as a leadership style as well as leadership and emotional intelligence will be addressed.
The course will be taught in English. All relevant organizational and content-related information, including accompanying literature, can be found in the course program. Further information will be provided to all participants via E-Mail and in the first session.
Registration
The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 25 students.
The application period for the winter semester 2025/26 begins on September 8 and ends on October 6, 2025. The application (CV and current transcript) should be sent with the subject “Application Leadership & Leadership Communication” to wiso-unternehmensfuehrung@fau.de. Feedback will be provided as soon as possible after the application period has ended.
