Exam inspection for the winter semester 2024/25

The exam review in the module Unternehmer und Unternehmen for the winter semester 2024/25 will take place on Tuesday, April 8 from 2 to 3 p.m. and Wednesday, April 9 from 10 to 11 a.m. in room LG H5. Registration is required by Sunday, April 6 at midnight at the latest via email to tobias.reif@fau.de, stating your name, matriculation number and preferred date.

Information on the schedule for summer semester 2025

The module Entrepreneurs and Companies is offered every winter semester. There will therefore be no lectures and exercises in the summer semester 2025. However, both examinations (written exam 20111 and presentation 20112) can still be taken in the summer semester 2025.

All students who have not successfully completed the presentation of entrepreneurs and companies in the winter semester 2024/2025 can make up for this in the summer semester 2025. The prerequisite for this is that they are studying in at least the second semester. Registration via StudOn before the start of the semester is required for the presentation exam.

Course Content

The aim of the Unternehmer und Unternehmen (UuU) module is to provide first-year students with an initial insight into business administration using current issues. In addition, students will learn basic teamwork and presentation skills. By incorporating digital formats into the learning methodology, students also acquire a wide range of digital skills. The lecture and tutorial are offered in the winter semester. In the summer semester, however, it is possible to take both examinations on the basis of the courses in the previous winter semester.

In the course of the lecture, six topics that are currently of particular importance for entrepreneurs and companies are discussed using many practical examples. In the tutorial, this content is examined in greater depth and examined from different perspectives in short presentations by the students. Organizational notes

There are a total of six lecture dates in the semester (one for each subject area). Two exercise sessions are also assigned to each subject area. There are therefore a total of six exercise blocks with two dates each.
The lecture takes place on Tuesdays from 15:00 to 16:30 in H4. The exact dates can be found in the lecture guide. A recording of the lecture will be available for streaming on StudOn one to two days after each lecture date. Presentation examination (20112)

Registration is required for the presentation. Registration takes place via StudOn and ends on April 27, 2025 at midnight. To register, you must join the following course: Unternehmer und Unternehmen – Übung Sommersemester 2025 This is a general registration for the presentations – the division into the individual teams is carried out by the Chair of Corporate Management and will be announced by e-mail after registration. The presentations will take place on May 20, 2025 from 15:00 – 18:15 in room LG 0.224. To pass the presentation, participation in the presentation date (May 20) and the kick-off (April 29) is mandatory.
