Current information on the schedule for summer semester 2026

The course Start-up Consulting will take place in the summer semester 2026. Interested students can apply from March 9, 2026, to April 6, 2026. To apply, please send a current transcript of records and resume by email with the subject line „Bewerbung Start-up Consulting 2026“ to wiso-unternehmensfuehrung@fau.de. Detailed information regarding the procedures and organisation will be provided after the application deadline. The module coordinators are available for any inquiries.

Seminar Contents

The seminar aims to enable students to solve challenges faced by young growth companies (start-ups) by the means of theoretical knowledge and methodological skills. Due to the current dynamics in society and technology, as well as the associated megatrends such as digitalization, start-ups face key challenges. These young, innovative companies operate in highly dynamic branches and present their problem at the beginning of the module.

During the event, students work closely with the start-ups and receive additional guidance from mentors from the industry as well as the chair’s team.

The results will be presented in a final presentation.

Registration

The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 25 students. Students who wish to participate in the event can apply from 09.03.2026, until 06.04.2026. The application (resume and current transcript of records) should be sent to wiso-unternehmensfuehrung@fau.de with the subject „Bewerbung Start-up Consulting 2026“. A response will be provided as soon as possible after the application period.
